How We Do It

Formerly CAL Autism Assistance Dogs, we have a wide ranging experience in helping owners train their dogs to assist them in public, to help alleviate the difficult and sometimes socially crippling symptoms of autism.

We support families in many ways and ensure that our standards are high; service providers can trust in our organisation so that our families have truly open access to all types of services.

How We Do It

We have trainers all over the UK who work with our families and their dogs specifically to train calm and focussed behaviour and excellent handling skills, for a solid and trustworthy partnership when out and about in public.

Your link trainer works with you as an integral part of your affiliation with us on an ongoing basis throughout our  partnership, to make sure your dog handling and your dog's skills remain appropriate to their job.

Our organisation's specialism is autism, however we have a small number of dogs who assist their owners for other conditions such as PTSD or as Disability Assistance Dogs.

We are willing to consider different types of assistance dogs on a case by case basis, but we must feel confident that we will be able to help you in the long-term with the right support and expertise before we proceed.
